Anchored in Healing

Individual, Couples, Marriage & Family Therapy

How do I prepare for my first session?

A: To help us best support your healing journey, we invite you to reflect on what brings you to therapy and your hopes for our time together. While having all the answers isn't necessary, considering your personal goals can be a meaningful starting point. You will also receive and complete a few intake forms before your session, which will provide us with valuable information to support your personalized care.

Q: Is everything I say in therapy confidential?

A: Confidentiality is a cornerstone of our practice and key to creating a safe space for healing. What you share in therapy, whether it's individual, couple, or family therapy, is kept private. However, there are legal exceptions, such as risk of harm or abuse to yourself or others. A confidentiality agreement will be provided to clients as part of the intake process.

Q: Are Anchored in Healing sessions offered in person or virtually?

A: Sessions are offered virtually through HIPAA-compliant telehealth services.

Q: What are the rates for your various therapy session types?

A: Visit Services & Fees to view rates.

Q: What is your cancellation policy?

A:  Visit Forms & Notices to review the cancellation policy located in the Practice Policies.
